Abstract
This paper looks at the characteristics of frequency response and frequency sensitivity of elastic constants in completely free rectangular plates of varying aspect ratios, fiber angle orientations and material orthotropy ratios. These are important considerations in the procedures currently widely applied for the elastic identification and damage analysis of composite materials.
